You have the angle completely wrong, it's a large mistake I made in my postbox alt, although not as bad compared to you =S. Basically, you just need to make the circle look as if it's actually flat on the ground, and not floating above it. It's hard to explain and I can't be bothered to show you, I'm sure somone who cares will =].
Also, do you know what swingers are?

sorry dollars but i don't like it. needs more smoothing and yellow shading is sorta wrong.
