Almost all the normal members with posts over 1,000 would be gone lmao. Maybe GommeInc and some of the oldies would be able to survive that criteria. The forum would be like a ghost town. A spamless ghost town but a ghost town nonetheless :P

A forum isn't going to set up a text system that would cost a lot just so they can make another 10 members VIP for a small while :p

I think they cost around £90 a month for that and they need to sort out the server so it is going to cost alot of money and i think it would not be worth it.

a dual 3.0ghz with 4 - 8 gb Ram (could settle for 2)
160 Gb HDD
unlimited bandwidth transfer inbound
unlimited mysql
pop3
24/7 server support @ datacentre
server hardened
firewalled
dedicated server
separate domain management so we may add our own domains to it and set up sites.

and that usually averages $400 per month maybe more as we are customising the server.

It's not as easy as "why dont you get an upgrade" we tried that but were denied our upgrade as "it is pointless within 5 days your site will be putting the same stress on the servers" so yeah give us some time.

Already found the server just finishing off our customisation to the servers
