Cheap SHOUTcast Hosting

Considering our shoutcast server and webhosting server are hosted on 2 different webservers i find it hard to see how u came across those specs

So when i pinged your server IP why did it come up with those details and showing the IP the use for the shoutcast the same as the one you use for hosting?

You can find a hell of a lot about servers if you know how to use ssh :)

1) No they cant share IPs
2) They still would be sharing resourses.

1 decaited server and a vps :P

if your using savvis then you are most likely using layeredtech, I ran a traceroute and it confirmed this. Most of Layeredtechs packages are 1TB and then you hit $0.50 per GB for overcharges.

An unmetered 100MB line costs in excess of $3000+ so its unlikely you are paying that and only charging £3.80 for 128K 150 slots as this would be using 21,120MB of your line only leaving your less than 4 more packages available.

gxhost you really have no clue im using a vps for my webhosting and a dedicated server for my shoutcast hosting i have never hosted websites and shoutcast servers on the same server i feel if you do this you are asking for trouble.

Ok... ami going to search the net... go on a site... search go on another and compare it... , or look in a few peoples signitures and who they recommened... or am i going to take people fighting over whos the best serriously... hmm i wonder which one

Actually im using a custom server package from dedicantral.com who resell from layeredtech. hence the reason you may have seen the reverse dns to be a layeredtech ip.

well gx, as long as its a good service and affordable and reliable..we are all happy :)

Btw, where did you get your shoutcast reseller from?
