[CS:S] Any ping reducing tips?

I close all of my programs when i play, leaving 4 programs that are important.

It might be because i have 256mb ram? I'm getting a 512 soon

Nah, it's todo with your connection speed. You should see if you could get a faster internet connection.

I hate it when u get kicked because of ping/latency. All i do is close all the programs running its the easiest way.
