I do it was 1998 when it first came out and remember in grade school we couldn't trade or fight becuase they said it was "gambling" anywho i remeber i use to collect 10 cents figurines those were cool, i liked the pokemon "Poliwhirl, politoad, poliwag, powhrath" those were my favorites, but pokemon today ... NOT COOl
Im not too fond of Pokemon, i never really liked it too much.
I was kind of the Outsider, and wasn't bothered by it.
I found that Pokemon was too much money, and also caused way too much obsession with people.
Besides it also cause Violence between friends.
People began to realise this after it all happened, as there was no warning what so ever.
I'm kinda glad that it's mostly over, you get the odd kid still collecting them, but not enough to make it start all over again.
I've seen these Yu-Gi-Oh cards, but they neva got as popular as Pokemon did.
This kind of thing hit News and Newspaper headlines, in order to get the real truth about these cards, as parents didn't think that they would cause any harm.
It grows old and something to make fun of. all things like that happen,
there was pokemon were it started and then digimon yugioh and all that. Things like that just stop being interesting, and they always will. One moment everyone loves pokemon then theres just a few who get laughed at because they still like it. Funny enough, they all come from japan! :eusa_thin
