I don't know why Zidane would be such an idiot and end his career like that, and cost France the cup. He has had much worse when he was younger, but when it mattered most he messed up. :l

I dont like barthez however i felt sorry for him today

Basically Zidane was being held in the penalty area.. No free kick walk away Zidane says something too Materazzi he says something back.. Zidane walks on, turns around and says something too Materazzi he turns back and walks on and Materazzi says something obviously quite offensive and Zidane does his bull impression.

If it's just what you think then I do not think that they would understand each other.. unless they said it in english.. :)

Oh yeah, Zinedine Zidane has been awarded the Golden Ball as the best player at the World Cup despite his sending off in the final on Sunday night. Phewf. At least it's not too much of a bad ending to his career.

it was due to him prevoking him and holding him down in the free kick , if zidane stayed on i bet france could have had a very good chance :rolleyes:

if you didnt see the other matchs when italy got a chance to get fouled / annoying other players they always went for it eg the italy vs austrailia match :rolleyes:
