Back on topic time heals most wounds, just appoligise and say that it was out of line and that your expectations were different to his and you will try to accept how he feels
Learn his feeling, tell him how you feel to his face. Don't get your friends to tell him he probs thinks there bs'ing.
And maybe he likes girl, or a bit of both.
What do you expect if hes straight ? Would you go out with a girl just because she loves you , I doubt it , so look at it from his point of view.
