Just realised your post. Although it means less work for you, I pity the person paying the wages for a whole group of Moderators who are not doing a half descent job  Unless they've fired aload and only left about 1, 2 or 3?

In order to be fair to all players, Habbo uses standardized bans.
Below are the general categories for all bans, with examples to illustrate each category:
Vulgarity - includes: swearing, avoiding the filter, unacceptable rooms or behaviour in rooms, unacceptable Habbo names, unacceptable discussion or unacceptable ascii art. Usually these bans are 2 hours. If it's a repeated ban or if a Habbo uses extreme vulgarity, the ban can be up to 7 days or more. In some extreme instances, Habbos will be permanently banned.
Now, I am completely baffled by this new scheme. I think I made my thoughts clear in the other thread, and it's too early in the morning to repeat what I said, however - swearing/avoiding filter/flooding is still against the Habbo Way, and you can be banned for it. Why create double standards? I understand what they are trying to get people to do, but why is it now our responsibility to deal with all sorts of griefers? The MODs are paid to deal with them, and now a large number of the CFHs (the swearing) want to be made rid of, what the hell are they going to do? Sit there thinking about their next pay cheque whilst swimming in the Habbo Lido? :rolleyes:Quote:
Disruption - includes: flooding, attempting to disconnect another player, blocking doors or teleporters, repeated attempts to trade against another player's will, guest room game disruption, abusing the Call for Help tool, etc. Usually a 2 hour ban.
Seriously though - Habbo are creating double standards, which is not particularly helpful for new Habbos, to say the least. If swearing is a bannable offense, then why can't they be banned for it?
Edit: Double post, sorry. :(
I agree with you on that point, I got blocked from entering a room the other day. They just told me to ignore. Instead of them doing the work they were payed for, they make us have to deal with waiting in the Doorway for over a hour.Quote:

Well what are the mods for then?
Tbh, i find the help tool quiete useful and i would rather have less scammers around the hotel, and a few idiots swearing, and im sure most of you have sworn on habbo or in real life, just looking for an excuse to moan. Although i do appreciate that they are paid to keep the hotel a safe enviroment
I must giggle at how they say you must ignore blockers. I mean...How can you ignore blockers when theyre blocking the place youre getting to?! Theres no point! Its like ignoring gravity!
Well since MODS dont mind Swearing anymore - Im sure they wouldnt mind if someone made a WE-Hate-MODS Protest or made loads of scripted rooms.
God Habbo has sunk low, First you could get banned for saying "Pizza", Now you get a message from the Lazy MODS Saying "Ignore the problem".
Nice to know that there's someone else working for Habbo that know what they're doing. If I was a MOD i'd get sick to death of people Calling For Help about some jackass swearing when all they have to do is press ignore.
"ZOMGZ lyk dis guy iz swerin relly bad in da welcum luonge, *** n gt him rite nw coz its lyk sooo bad!!1!"
