It looks abit boring, maybe make an island with some yukkas on.
I think you need to change the duck posters as i dont think you find them aroud a pond more rainforest posters would look alot nicer Still nice roomQuote:

Its quite nice, I'd get rid of the random duck/skyline posters and stick with rainforest posters for the whole room. I'd also perhaps create a bridge made out of lodge going from one side to another side of the room? I know you said you want to keep it simple but this might add to it as it does look very plain in the middle...
If you do create an island in the middle I'd put some petals, pines, yukkas etc.
