When Karl and I used to use them, the pain was dreadful for me! Karl didn't seem too bothered by them I don't think :P
Now I'm on the 'pill', we don't have a need for the latex :P It's way more comfy for me as well and that we don't have to worry if we forgot to bring any protection.
