Its fast range xp if you use that and knives though.

can you carry your 1000's of cannon balls with you in large quanitys or can you only have as much as fits in your inventory?

U can carry as much as u like because it stacks in your inventory.

You need to have finished "dwarf cannon" to even set-up the cannon.
