So there scene because emos buy them. That makes no sense.

yeah, and DC were skate shoes way before emos/scenes started wearing them
plus just because alot of emos/scenes wear converse does not mean that converse are scene

if any skate shoe brand is scene, i'd say Etnies are, you see more scenes wearing Etnies then DCs

the people who are scene, but don't like to admit it, avoid converse and vans now, since it's widely known they're scene, and move on to DCs.

whatever shoes you get i don't think anybodies going to call you scene because of the brand or style, buy something that you think looks good rather than caring if everybody else has or likes them

Well I've always been a DC lover & would be disgusted if I saw any scene people wearing them. Down here the scene shoes are;
Pumps [all the scene girls wear them, like everyday]
Converse
Either Vans or Etnies are more 'scene' than DC.

Anyway you seem to be like a goth & whatnot so get some 'NewRock' boots. They're like you described with all the metal & crap on the sides & they supposedly weigh loads.

Why should anyone have to follow the branded trend of what certain people wear. Just because chavs wear lacoste shoes doesn't mean emos or moshers can't wear them, same any other way around.
