He should promote the MLS as Bradders said, but even with that, when I was in America in the summer of 2005, there were no MLS adverts or anything on the TV. I did see one for the Premiership on Cable though :D
And :o at the wages, I never knew it was that much a week.
-
it is infact around 498 thousand pound a week according to sky sports news
on a apparently 128 million pound 5 year deal
-
Ok, he is going in august
he is going to be on approx £450,000 a week
He has always said he wants to end his career in America.
He is 31, Add 5 (His contract) onto that. 36 = Retirement.
The MLS has numerous TV deals now
It is simple really.

Like good ole Tim Lovejoy says: People who call football "soccer" are mugs ! :P
-
Well you can't blame him, he will play every match, no pressure on him and a lot of money.
-
He only went for the money, no question there. I'd laugh if he didn't play as well.
-
Obviosuly he didn't go for the money just
He gets agame every week
His wife wanted to live there
They speak english (Better for the Kids)
He wants to end his career in the USA he said ages ago
It all adds up
-
What player wouldn't turn down over 400 grand a week. And anyway the kids have been going to a Spanish school for 4 years already, so that doesn't really make a difference.
-
I would love to see you learn fluent spanish in 4 years.
-
Well it does help when you learn younger, so I suppose they will be all right at it :D
