Tbh, I know a lot of people who use scissors, and think it would be ideal to "trim", as its easier, and less irritation as Ostinato said.

I trim mine lol, cant have them getting out of control, and they dont itch :D

never cut them.. and since people say it's itchy when they grow back - i don't plan on it..
