Meh, its all a load of crap anyway, if a kids going to have sex then ther gunna have sex regardless of age of consent is.
All this "No sex before your such and such age" is just going to make some kids who like to rebel do it.
Most kids feel that rules like that are made to be broken and that ther mature doing something thats strictly for older peeps.
the whole 9 being the age of consent seems a little bit off. Maybe they just dont have one. I cant see anybody (who hasnt got serious problems) turning round and encouriging kids to have sex, if so, thats just sick.
It's 14 here in Spain and that map shows a lower age, looks like 12 to me (the colour).

I remember it used to be 12 in the UK many hundreds of years ago. But that's before sex was just an add-on to a relationship. Rather than a serious matter just to keep a family going.
