They are, just because you don't like them it doesn't mean the rest of the world doesn't, they are a good band, thousands, maybe millions of people love them, you're just bummed because a band you like didn't win. :)

i didnt even know those awards existed.
and im not denying the fact that loads of people like them. i dont mind them. i just personally do not think they are the group of the year.
what were the nominees? i went on the site, but i dont have anything that opens .PDF files, so i couldnt open that file with them in.

Billy Talent is good n all, but there's plenty better Canadian groups.

they're the best canadian group that i know off. unless i know of a band but i dont know they're canadian

if alexisonfire were one of the nominations, then i'd disagree with billy talent winning. other than that, i like them (:

They're a fantastic band, fallen leaves + kids of yesterday (sp?) are fantastic songs. Least they're not a cliche band like *cough* thisss ainttt the scene *cough*
