I feel the same thing with my dad.
My parents aren't divorced, and he's not dead, but in the past few moths he had to work A LOT. He was never home in Paris and my mom had a lot to do with our moving to London... so I used Habbo as my alcohol ;)
Even now, that I'm writing you from Rome, he's still in Paris working. I hope we're going to be together in London.
I don't wanna sound rude or anything but have any of you wonderd maybe your mum/dad is having a affair? My uncles wife was having a affair, My uncle found out when she kept saying she had to go to new york for business visits, then central london and stuff like that, After a while he got fed up, And announced at a family meal shes been sleeping with one of her business partners and she never actully went to new york & where ever she said, She checked into the same hotel she went to, And had sex with him :l

my mum and dad are always out and work or the pub and i ended up getting really down about fights with friends, always having to look after my sister, her having them wrapped round her finger and how there never home.. after me my mum and dad spoke they spend more time at home, my sister doesn tget away with much and i get to spend time iwth my mum...
so maybe you should try talking to your mum and tell her how you feel.
Well, if there's a time you see her, tell her how you feel. If she tries to say can we talk about this later tell her this is something we need to talk about now & if we aren't able to, then I'm considering moving out. Then if she begins to talk, just tell her, mom, I miss you. We never spend time together, we never do anything together. Just basically tell her how you feel. Maybe she'll understand. That's pretty rough though never seeing your mom or dad. My parents aren't divorced & I see both of them equally. My mom sometimes works at home because she owns her own business. My dad, goes to work 5 days a week, except weekends. We see eachother a lot. Normally watch a movie on Friday nights cause then, my mom normally stays home & works there. Then we go shopping & stuff. The only time I don't see my mom is when she does her wedding planning stuff or parties. She just extended into party planning & so yeah. Like when she goes to the weddings or parties till all hours of the morning, it's rough but I get over it. My dad is home when she's not so... I hope she understands & this gets a lot better.
