You could sue them tbh or even get them shutdown, their using your details for their pleasure.
They don't keep your IPs. It's a feature on DJ Panel which allows you to send an alert out to everyone who is on the main site.
Erm well it must have been sent earlier but only just got it because it happened to me before.
It isn't necessarily illigal to hold your information without your permission, servers automatically log each IP going on their website, and you're not exactly assigning permission, or you could say you were by actually visiting the site. If they were archiving copies of IP addresses to send illigal alerts that would be different...
It's impossible for them to alert your computer cause they've got your IP. There must be a scientific explanation for that, at your end.
They're allowed to keep your IPs, just not to sell them and archive them.
You shouldn't make such accusations, calling them 'Illegal' if you have no idea how the internet and IPs work, as it's really quite mean.
Habbox stores cookies on your actual computer, but I don't see everyone cooking up a fuss about it? Since most websites store cookies on your computer, most just for research, but often to store your preferences and to stay logged in.
From viewing 1 image on the internet, the website can pick up your IP and they don't even need to tell you that.
If you have sent in a request, yes they will have your IP address and they can send you and you alone a message, but there is nothing wrong with them keeping it, say if you send in a rude message or summet, that can keep the IP and ban you from the site.
It is possible to send someone a message through their IP address, but that isn't an IP message. That message was sent through the ClubHabbo website, so you must either be on it, or you have something that is still linking you to it.
My bet is the browser messed up and the webpage was running some how.
