So killing someone is okay because the murderer was raised by abusive parents? I guess people should just deal with being murdered and get on with it.

Jesus was originally a jew and was born in the middle east so dont forget he was obviously dark tanned
Fighting a losing battle with this one.
Racism, unfortunatly, has been around for a hell'uva long time & I don't see it being stamped out in the near future.
The amount of people who share a racial view accross the globe, is large. It'd take ALOT to clear it from society.
People have tried & no-one has been able to clear it completely & I for one, don't see anyone or any group of people doing so, mainly because theres so much else going on.
Being racist isn't something passed down... It's a personal choice. A parent (or parents) could not be racist, but the offspring could be.
What annoys me is every time someone mentions racisim everyone always starts saying 'My best friend is black' or 'this important person in history was jewish or asian' It just annoys me racisim goes both ways! Every day white people are discrimnated from jobs because big companies are scared their going to get fined if they don't hire enough people from other ethenic backgrounds. Sir Trevor Mcdonald made a racist remark about the white comedian Bernerd Manning live on TV and wasn't warned or punished in any way. Its fair enough if we are all treated equally but the fact is we're not, white people get discriminated awell!
Got to be careful in what I say here lol.
In this modern day racism is on a completely different level as to what it used to be. Me coming from a city which has a lot of different colours, races, and religions (Bradford for those people who didn't know) Nowadays if someone says something which is hardly even offensive it gets classsed as racism. People like that really annoy me. There was me thinking that this country was all about freedom of speach, yes there is a line and people know when they have crossed it. But I have often said something and others have replied back to me and said omg that's racist. It makes me think to myself go through the comment again in my head and I struggle to realise how it is racist.
I remember an arguement 2 of my uncles had between each other about this as one uncle is married to a black (American) woman. This was at the time of the big brother race row. People kicked up a fuss about people calling Shilpe, Shilpa poppadom. Whereas when Jermaine Jackson reffered to Jade Goody and Co. as "White trash" it just got swept under the carpet and nothing got done about it. Personally white trash is more racist than calling some Shilpa poppadom. The side one of my uncles was getting at is what is Politically Incorrect and what is actually Racism. They are both different things.
Me living in Bradford I see alot of the Asian community and the younger generation at school are like "Yo sappenin n......." that would be perfectly ok nothing racist about it. Whereas if a White Englishman was to say that it would be classed as serious racism.
This debate about what is classed as racism and what is not can go on for years. Personally for me it is a whole joke how it is now.
Hope I didn't offend anybody in this post I had no intention to this is just my OPINION on this matter which is what a forum is about sharing other peoples opinion :)
You should probably do some thinking before posting. Racism has been around since the dawn of man - tribes fought each other and irrationally hated each other just for worshipping a different form of sun god, for having different haircuts, for doing markings differently or for whatever reason they could think of. Also it's more likely to occur in people whose parents are racist, but it's not a certainty and any views affect you whatever you say.
In the Bible "race" is only defined by religion really. It might say something about dark faced people or similarly put words, but the discrimination in it is all to do with which gods are worshipped. Still, let's not make this a religious argument, they do get tedious quickly.
I entirely disagree. Racism is just the same as any other form of bullying. If someone decided to point out that someone else was black, and make fun of them for it, I don't think that it should be treated any differently to someone making fun of another for having long hair or just being ugly.
I'm pretty sure there have been/are plenty of successful racists.
No such thing as equality, sorry to shatter the dream.
Have to agree with that
And agree with that.
I am a racist, by the way. But know how to control myself. I didn't get my feelings for it from my parents, I got it from the media, from films and television. If you want to get rid of racism, get rid of it from the public viewing eye first; then you might stand a glimmer of hope so others don't continue.
