Ok. We've been talking on AIM a lot and I know she likes me, but her parents won't let her date an 8th grader (cause apparently, we think differently frmo 7th graders) and she says shes waiting to see if her boyfriend gets any better (she said hes really nervous and wierd around her.)

So am I screwed or what?

Don't tell her parents your in the 8th grade / Who cares what the parents say, its nothing to do with them...

why shudnt her parents let her date an 8th grader.dats absurd.well hang on for a lil bit.if things still dun turn out the right way just move on i guess. :)

In America they're called Grades and not years, and as you can see his location is Texas ;) - I think Grade 8 is equivalent to the UKs Year 11 or something.

So things have progressed over the weekend. She has broken up with her boyfriend and said I was "the sweetest guy she has ever met" and has a huge crush on me. The only thing between us now is her mom who won't let us date, and won't let me take her anywhere.

What can I do now?
