wrong. you have to be confident, you can't only ask people out who you're positive will accept. and it's not embarrassing if you do it right. most girls, even if they say no, are flattered if they're asked out.

If he is your mate he wont mind, he once went out with her and broke up with her.
It's not his decision wether you go out with her or not, it's yours.

Mate, just ask her out. if your friend broke up with her just ignore him. Theres nothing he can do to stop you from liking a girl. Just smack him one if he trys to talk you outta it.
