You could always start up one of those referrer sites.
Like give away free domains with so many referrals.
(I know its not original, but theres only one other that i know of)

How about a myspace layout site? Really easy to market as on every layout you whack a benner back to your site. With myspaces ENORMOUS userbase you have literally millions of potential visitors.
