That would cost billions and would be an impossible task.
I have always been for the buring of rubbish as a fuel, it's free and there's plenty of it so why aren't we burning it? - Nuclear and Rubbish are are best power souces economically and in every other way.
like wow :o
I recon they should take a hell of alot of rubbish into space and throw it into the sun :D
why not have a huge floating platform in the area where the rubbish is now to put the rubbish onto then ever 5 years or so get it sent into space
What's been suggested is that they put the dangerous toxic gas's underground in large 'Bubbles' like an old tin mine, seal it off so it can't escape, and then it's trapped underground, not causing any harm. The risky bit is though, in hundreds of years, if someone made a hole in it, it'd all escape and you'd have loads of the dangerous gases leaping into the atmosphere.
Because Undertaker, we have perfectly fine ways of generating power now.
Lmao you really need to get with it... We do not have perfect ways.
Nuclear is good, but rather expensive and difficult to dispose of, however it's one of the most efficient.
Coal powered stations will run out of Coal eventually and lots of people are against them as they release green house gases when burnt, triggering off some so-called thing 'Global Warming'
Windfarms are expensive and take up a lot of a space, and in some people's eyes are unattractive.
Then we have incineration like Undertaker suggested, though it is currently used. Yet again it releases 'Dangerous gases' into the atmosphere.
If you ever turned on the news, read a decent newspaper, looked on bbc.co.uk/news or listened in Science class's you'd realise there is a big issue with trying to get energy, as they all have problems.
