Straight A's in academic subjects.
How many and do your GCSEs matter or just A and AS levels?

No they look at both. They get thousand of candidates from all over the world, plenty of whom come from noble/royal families and are willing to pay multiple times the entrance fee, who've done like 13 GCSEs and got all A*s. When they look at your A levels they look at each individual module you've done and expect you to get high As.Quote:

Well I agree, politicians go to these universities and they're all dull as anything and can't comprehend consequences or anything to do with reality in general because they do subjects irrelevant to real life. But at the end of the day someone who says they've been to Oxbridge is going to look all the better for it and not just in England.Quote:
