I know what I am talking about. :/
The CPU would be considered as a major upgrade I would have thought? I would go check this up on the MS site or something.

It isn't hard, I upgraded my old GeForce. Took about 15 minutes.
I don't really like the case, graphics card, and sound card.. I would never go with integrated sound.
It sounds like **** :P
The mobos on Dells are great, they aren't "standard", but they are easy to upgrade dispite what everyone says.
I'm pretty sure you don't, I swapped in a new CPU in my old 8300, didn't need a new one for XP.
Oh, so retail versions look for major upgrades?
Retail looks for hardware, there must be 6 out 10 hardware the same for it to activate.
Well RAM, GFX and CPU cant be one of them xD as they are standard changeable components.
Also, Intergrated sound is fine... I have no problems with it.
Did I only see the integrated graphics card in there? From what I've experienced with my old Dell, they're pretty poor for pretty much any gamesmade within the last 5 years or so. Then again, I got mine in 04 so idk what the standard is like now. Dells are always a safe bet, nothing special but good value and good longetivity, mine was running for the best part of 4 years before the HDD burnt out :P
Whoever said changing the graphics card in a Dell is hard... it really isn't. I'd never taken apart any component of a PC before, took me about 20 mins with no guidance whasoever, worked absolutely fine.
They obviously didn't know how a computer works. I can't wait for it to be delivered :D 23/05/08 or sooner it will be delivered :D
I wasn't sure about the GFX upgrade, but I know you need to buy special RAM from Dell if you wanna upgrade RAM.
