I might recommend Conquer Online too.

City of heroes has really good gameplay.
You're a superhero and go round busting gangs.
They update their servers alot too, adding in new storylines and loads of other stuff.

You do have to pay monthly, but they give off LOADS of 2 week free trials sometimes!
