So is she moving out of town permanently?
If she is, her parents are a bit tight.
Being a girl...
We want to feel special like we're the only girl you ever think about.
Ring her parents, and tell them that you want to take her out. Be grown-up about it and say itd mean a lot to you. The effort it took will make her appreciate it even more.
I'd suggest you take her out to dinner, buy her beautiful flowers as well as something she can take away with her (perhaps something you've hand-made yourself). Take her out to a nice restaurant, not the corner burger joint...
And don't sound doubtful at all. When she says "do you think this will work" you say "of course, baby" NOT "um... I hope so".
I'm in a semi-long distant relationship, but we see each other pretty much every weekend (he lives 1hr 30mins away). It's very possible, and quite rewarding.
Good luck
The perfect solution to all your relationship problems:
Buy her a necklace that has a heart broken in two
One half for you other for her
And get your names incripted into them :)
Give your name to her, you keep hers.
Just an idea..
Taking her to a fancy restaurant would be great, try convince her parents to let her go :) How long is she out of town for?
Something like flowers and chocolates also work. Ok, I'm not the best person for asking when it comes to relationships, but this should work, and she will love it :)
