I doubt Sony would monopolize the market, if they do that, the format simply won't take off.

Blu-Ray is successful internationally. The amount of Blu-Ray players will greatly outnumber the games consoles.

that is as far as consoles go and so what 360's can't get it I have a few million more players/PS3's that can play that too
