Need an American Accent for school production..

What kind of American accent? They have different accents in different regions :S

I've had to put on a few american accents haha.
when i starred in Fame, i had the worst one ever, i just can't do typical american.
Then when i was in west side story, i had to do another. It was a lot better by then,

dunno how to actually say how to do it.

Umm BASIC american accent, its hard to explain, like a devon accent but more farmer style. When you say R asin Sports Soccer say SpoRts SocceR exaggerate the R?

I dont get what an american accent is. Now the British, they definitely have an accent.
