Kinda funny you posted this.
At work tonight, someone was stuck in the lift.
My mate started at 5:30, and heard a faint knock from the lift so his mate knocked back.
Turned out someone was stuck in the lift for a few hours.

I'd most probably brace myself in a corner and pretend that'd do some good... gotta have an optimistic last few seconds on Earth, eh?

You're already in the lift though lol

I'd make conversation with the person in the lift so that the drop is at least entertaining. Or, try and get out of the lift via the little hatches in the roof and hope for the best.
