Yes Alicia Key's album was such a flop it sold 700,000 copies in the US first week, largest first week sales for any R&B female.
An I'm not saying Leona dosn't have an amazing voice, but I'm saying Alicia deserved this more, shes amazing all over.

She does have creative control? She's an experienced writer and she started writing at a very young age. Giving a vocalist complete control creatively would be the worst move you could make in this industry. You don't know what sort of reception an artist will get so all artists start off with some assistance so that they have something to fall back on if their own material doesn't appeal to the fans. But all of the songs she wrote appealed to fans and critics.Quote:

No, if you had proper debates you'd be more respectful to the simple fact I don't believe Leona deserves such a role, and you wouldn't see the need to get personal and completely disregard the music I like, which you blatently have just done ;)
