Nope, when you install OSX onto that partition it doesn't install a proper boot loader, you just modify the XP loader :)

It's pretty easy to do in XP with thanks to Tawm, however i couldn't get it to work whilst I was dual booting with Vista.

Although it's OSX, it has to be modified in order to work on non-mac hardware.
the closer you can get to the mac hardware the better. which is why AMD is a bit iffyQuote:
