Unless you have your power cables bunched up with your network cables:P

Noise does affect a line and can cause certain people to have really bad disconnection problems which eventually causes the router sync at a lower speed that you can actually get.

I ment it shouldn't affect it as much sorry. :P

Unless your mains cables are right next to your network ones.

I have a netgear router and it disconnects alot... for no reason.

Apparently the wiring in the router is rubbish, I'll wait for my wireless box :)

I had something fimiliar. I contacted NETGEAR, and they helped me :D
