If your Touch is this one: http://www.apple.com/ipodtouch/ (Rounded Back) then its a 2nd Generation.

If not, then its a 1st Generation :)

It's the 1st Gen one then.

Therefore I have to purchase a Nano, what a bummer :P

Uhh, and it doesn't work with the iPhone 3G? That sucks...

Yeah, that is quite annoying. http://www.runkeeper.com/ is a similar thing, but of course you don't get access to the Nike+ system which most people use it for.

Also, @OP - What you could do is pick up a 1st Gen iPod Nano from eBay and then use that for the Nike+ system :)

It requires a 3G iPhone as it uses the built in GPS, I believe.

Not entirely sure, saw it on MacRumoursForum when I was looking at this for you :)

So I can't use any sort of thing, unless I buy an iPod Nano now?
