If I am correct, the RSS feed was brought out so that the Habbox News could get more views as no one was reading the Reports.

As true as that may be, it's not fair for members who were using the forum before hand and preferred talking to other members about their articles and reports. A bot is just an anti-social, pushy way to force Habbox News upon members. I say force, because you can't ignore the bot because there won't be any news, due to multiple threads by any memembers will be removed.
The old system was and is the best, regardless of how the news reporters feel.
To be honest with you, I don't think you're last sentence is at all fair. For One, I said it should be in a sub-forum, I was just answering Jake's question.
Two, it's even more unfair for the News Reporters who have to write up the reports when the only thing the members do is copy and paste of Habbo.
Not all members copy and paste it, some start up some interesting rumours and isn't Habbox news just Habbo news re-worded? Pretty much as bad as copying and pasting, you may aswell read it on Habbo if you desperately want to know Habbo news. Might be why Habbo news on fansites lately is a bit pointless. In the past it would of been good, but not when Habbo show their news on the homepage.
Also... This lag you get with posting replies on Habbox... Has this got something to do with it failing to load a page saying "Your post has been submitted, please wait" which appears afterwards or is that an idea and nothing else?
It's not unfair for news reporters at all - it's how Habbo has changed. Back in 2004, they'd be one or two articles a month (with most of them being credit changes -.-) and they'd be the newsletter each week. Most people didn't know the latest goings on, hence why fansites giving news was handy.
These days there's numerous articles throughout the week, meaning less people need to get news off fansites because all the information is there.
And if Habbox want to do an RSS feed, why don't they bloody do the Habbo RSS feed rather than the Habbox one? At least it won't be repeating old news... But better yet... have no feeds :)
Some of us like the actual article and not the whole thing re-worded and just - different!
In repsonse to news on fansites being pointless, that is your point of view. Loads of people visit habbo fansites for News, with Habbox being the most popular. It isn't copy and pasted, it is wrote differently and aimed to be more interesting. From a sample of UK Reports on Habbox to Habbo Reports, I strongly think that Habbox reports are far more interesting.
I think that it would be more useful in a sub-forum though :)
I don't know about the lag but I shouldnt think so. I will ask Jin soon.
Kill the bot.
Have you seen how much its posted?
