I don't think Dazzle allow HD so if you wanna record for that period you need to set it to SD.

ah right ok. but you can have both the HDMI cable plugged in and the SD cables plugged in and just change the channelt o each and both will be working? does that make sense?
I think I know where you're getting at :P Back of my Xbox I just have the HDTV switch off but I guess if you're on a actual HD tv you'll just swap to a SD channel.
ah right, ps3 for me lol. My TV has an AV channel thing and it has the following
TV
AV1
AV2
S-Video2
AV3
AV4
Component
RGB
HDMI
hdmi is the one i use atm for my ps3 and AV1 for my freeview
I'm not sure as I don't use PS3 but loads of people broadcast their PS3 on justin.tv :P
You'll need like 6 AV splitters, 2 AV to AV cables if you wanna record in SD while playing in HD plus an extra TV to record off, like a crappy 6'' one.
oh rihgt, so the AV cables (or whatever they were) that came with the ps3, if i plug them in my console and hook up to my TV, i can use two channels for my PS3. If then i decide to record, i use the AV channel (or whatever channel its on) and it will still be playing where i left off?
You need a Dazzle Platinum, You put 1 AV splitter in each, that creates 2 branches for each port, you put another 1 in each port thus making each port have 3 branches or inputs.
You put The AV cables of your PS3/Xbox into 1 and then you get 2 AV to AV cables and put them into the others and connect 1 of those AV cables to your required slots on HD TV and the other to your crap TV.
It does but once you get the stuff you'll know what to do.
