Write with my left, use my right for something though.

I've always wondered though, what makes a person right-handed or left-handed? Is it simply because as a child, we picked up a pencil with that particular hand and it becomes our writing and dominant hand for life? :P
Doubt it, arn't like 95% of people right handed? I doubt only 5% would pick up with their left. ;)Quote:

Your parents will either carry a left handed gene or a right handed gene. Right however is the dominant gene, whereas left is the recessive gene. If both your parents are left handed, good chance you will be too. If just one of your parents are left handed, almost 100% chance you will be right handed, as that is the dominant gene.
