I'd wait until at least 20 levels above each fish before you start trying to catch them.
Started at 1 and now I am pretty much level 60, thats without no-lifing it aswell. I am changing to fly fishing/power fishing untill I reach 68 where I will then go to the fishing guild and fish lobbies as they should be a lot quicker to catch then. Me and Milto have teamed up btw, hopefully we will reach it together! :)
