It's not really blogging, it's just informing people of what you're doing or what you're gonna do really, you can use it on your mobile too so it's ideal if you're out and you put something such as "In a taxi on the way home" :P

Twitter doesn't cost money if you do it via the web. Also I've followed people in this thread now.
