I have my NIC, now what?

You will need to find out what your local council has set, connexions should know about it for you.
It changes from council to council, i started working when i was 14.

What is the Legal age to get a Job?
Ibelive the Job you would get is Part time

Sorry, but connexions were the last place i would go, The people there are useless. I wish i was back at school XD

Tesco you need to be 18.
Sainsburys and Asda accept 16 year olds.

16 to work at Tesco.
But you've gotta be finished with compulsory exams ( i.e GCSE )

I thought 13 year olds have the same working rights until they're sixteen?
So a few hours on a saturday, a few hours on a sunday and one or two hours on weekdays but not exceeding 10 hours a week or something?

Whereas when your sixteen it changes.
