girls aloud were as average as usual (exc. sarah & nicola who hold it together), ting tings and estelle were alright (the end was good), and the pet shop boys were boring (there was no point of gaga when that killers idiot screeched over the top of her)
i agree the brits are getting worse each year it was a very big let down this year although what can u expect from the music industry when it is in such a state? Gaga and the killers front man were just sparre parts but what have the pet shop boys actually done for music in the recent years?
i think youre missing the title of the award, 'lifetime achievement'
tbh the music industry isn't in that bad of a state, true sales are going down but that's got nothing to do with the brits being able to put on a good show and chose deserving winners.
there were numerous people in the audience who could have performed but didn't - i'm pretty sure some of them would have even done it for free to get some promo if the award show's budget was low.

single sales aren't actually going down, they're on the up.
in america last year over one billion digital tracks sold and the #1's in the uk are selling 60-80k where as last year most were selling 40k
the thing is it isnt reli record sales that make the artists money. most of the artist's income comes from live gigs and things the record sales just make the record companies money and the artists mininmal income.
anymore attempts at trying to contradict me because you don't like my opinion on rihanna? i was talking about album sales, and it doesn't really make a difference if single sales are going up because the 50p from each extra track sold is unlikely to cover the cost of the missing album sales.Quote:
