The eggs of Eastertime
Dropping into your homes
The chocolate is fine

That cute little bunny has hopped all day,
delivering baskets for the holiday.
His paws are so tired and his nose how it itches,
He left you something special to fulfill all your wishes-
Lots of cute little Easter bunny hugs and kisses.

The Easter Bunny came last night
And left this little scoop.
Because you weren't too good this year,
You're getting Bunny Poop!

The Moonlight shining down,
from the mid-night sky,
He goes around all the houses
so the children won't cry.

As morning light approaches,
the children open their eyes,
they creep downstairs to make no noise,
and find a big surprise!

There he is the easter bunny,
standing in all his glory,
sitting down amongst the eggs,
ready to tell a story....

Christ the Lord is risen today!
Angels rolled the stone away
From the tomb wherein He lay!
Little children, come and sing,
"Glory, glory to the King,
Christ the Lord of everything!"

Easter is a happy time,
When everything seems to be so fine,
The birds are singing,
and the bells are ringing,
Its a wonderful Easter Day!

Little Easter, the comedienne bunny,
Tried too hard at being funny.
She juggled and she dropped the eggs
They fell and smashed between her legs.
Poor Easter left the stage in shame
And thought that she might change her name.
But then that bunny read this ad,
"This Sunday we need help real bad."
So Easter Bunny kept her name
And through the years has gained much fame,
When Easter's Sunday comes each year.
She delivers eggs and we all cheer.
