Me and my boyfriend went to go watch it... we saw the first 2 min and got freaked out when we saw it was based on a true story and saw all the pictures of the dead people.. we bailed! hah & then went to see another movie
I didn't like it, too many CG FX and the corpses looked terrible. Don't pay attention when a film says it's based on a true story, it will be the most loosely based piece of cinema.
Not scary. Not good. I want my money back. Seriously.
What he said. I'm fed up with movies saying they're based on a true story because most people believe that everything in the movie is true, and this is what the directors/writers want you to think. They should say, "Loosely based on a true story."Quote:

And I'm not trying to start arguements; but doesn't 'based on a true story' not say in itself that some of it is dramatized? It didn't say 'a true story'. No one can re-create exactly what happened in a true film, and even if they did it would probably be very tedious and boring to watch. Just my opinion though...
