Woah, they should get rid of that I think? Yeah I get your point but then everyone complains saying "more kids should be taught about sex education at a younger age" or "lower the legal age" but then nobody takes any notice of it so people are just wasting their breath. The last time I heard, sex education was part of the problem, when being taught at a younger age? It sort of encourages children to think about sex and to think about having sex, rather than to inform. It's like art theory, no-one wants to learns anything, they just want to do it for themselves. If they don't need to have sex, then they don't need to be told about it. Like learning to drive, you get taught that when you're 17 (maybe earlier). Why? Because you don't need to know about it because, heck, what's the point being taught something you don't really need to know until later on?
If anything, sex education needs to be dumbed down - just teach kids about reproduction with a quick "If I pick you up, Johnny, and you up, Sandra, and rub you together, we get babies".
I've never had sex education throughout compulsory education. We had a "puberty talk" in like year 5, that's it.
