Is CMD blocked? Batch scripts? Registry editor?
There are numerous ways. You need to be able to edit the registry, whether it be by using a batch script, cmd, registry editor, VB, a VB.NET Macro (through Word, Excel, etc)

If your school has FF then you can download a plugin or two that will let you bypass some stuff. Most schools don't realise how much you can actually do with FF plug-ins... Even if they block access to the proxy settings inbuilt in to Firefox you can still use this...
Edit: You could use Linux boot disc to edit some windows settings....
I used this proxy last week at school. Couldn't get on youtube though :(
To run exe's at school I zip it up and then unzip to C:\Documents and Settings\username\Desktop (as folder Desktop is disabled ) because pasting to the desktop has been disallowed. Easy & it works. Ran portable chrome, but it wouldn't connect to the internet, so yea, ill try ultrasurf. thanks.
