Yeah this won't work, places like Designer's Couch already offer a job board with design ratings by the community which means it's the ultimate way to get freelance or sell designs. Plus it's a private community on the designer side so they only let people in who they think are good meaning the quality of designs/code is a lot higher.

If you can't answer that question, then you have NO MARKET. It's already saturated.
If you have an answer like, to target up and coming designers, then you have bad designers in a poor buying market.
If you have an answer like, some designers will use it and you'll put your own designs there, then where's your buyers? No PR, fresh site, little if any advertising, means not many designs on there, with not many buyers, and if your site has no reputation in a huge market, with only a handful of designers, then it has no credibility.
wench, i use 99designs too, and the amount of contests ive entered and not won is far greater than the designs i have. I need a place to sell the designs i dont win, and this would be it. I know youre all saying, 'its been done so many times before', Tbh, if you cant tell, i dont give a crap. Ive told you why this is a possible idea. As for buyers, why do you think im a 10 year old kid, trying to be patronising? Little if any advertising? ok, since when did i say anything about that?
Designer couch, although looks great, as you said, it involves a private community. This would be an open community, but you get rewarded for having better designs, so if your design is horrible, it goes straight to the bottom of the pile which is what im trying to do, similar to logopond. If your designs good, it'll be at the top, once someone clicks 'buy it now' it'll disappear (as i intend the site being a 1 design 1 sell).
I really cant be bothered to defend it any longer so am just gonna get on with it when i can lol.

Buyers - Why buy from you, when there is existing, trusted sites that the best designers use? Why buy from you instead of using 99D where they can see hundreds of entries?
Advertising - Unless you have enough money to get you into PR4 minimum, and an advertising budget of over £2500, it's pointless. You're just not going to be able to compete.
I will bet good money on the fact your site won't get anywhere. You're too stubborn and generally bone-headed.

Twitter had a huge budget to make a dent in the market. As did Facebook. The only small sites that get popular under their own steam is if it's a new, innovative idea. This, isn't. Nor does it have the budget to dent the market.

We're not attacking. These people are being serious. They won't use it - and if this level of people wouldn't use it (and you're scrapping the barrel already), then it's just going to fall on its' face.

Still, I agree the market is saturated, but if you feel you have something unique and promising, just have a bit of confidence and go ahead with it if you think it might work. You try, and it works or fails. You leave it, it just fails.
