Tamiflu doesn't 'save lives' tbh unless you have serious underlying health issues. People recover without it and unless you have underlying health issues or are young then you shouldn't take it.
It hasn't even been properly tested so how can they know its safe and has been causing side effects to children.
It's like they should give everyone Tamiflu when they get a cold... you get over it yourself, its just like the normal flu...
-
Of course it has been tested, it has been around for ages. Do you really think they would put an untested drug out there?
Also, I'd like to know more about how it caused a heart attack. What exact side effects caused this? Was your "dads friends friend" perfectly healthy?

jesus christ, you're such a scare mongerer lol.
tamiflu doesnt kill you, its the allergic reaction that does. hardly makes tamiflu a dangerous product does it?
-
are you saying it has penicillin in it?
and surely she should have read whats in the druf before taking it...
-
When I had the MMR jab I had a bad reaction to it and was off college for a week as I was constantly being sick. That doesn't mean the country must stop giving these jabs out to the rest of the population!
Tamiflu is the same of course there are going to be people who it has bad reactions to but that doesn't mean they should simply stop using it.

This just in: Peanuts kill
This just in: Mushrooms kill
This just in: Wheat kills
You can be allergic to anything and die.

If it was believed to be the best call it couldn't really be helped unless she refused to take it or she had previous experience with Tamiflu and she was advised to keep off it. But you can't really say that it shouldn't be used, it is afterall a pandemic with people dying, so the best possible care is being given to those with weak immune systems in the form of Tamiflu.

Allergic reactions to medication occur very, very rarely. If I said they were 1 in a million, that would be way too high. Tamiflu will kill at least a few people, like any other medication will.

I don't think it's the medication itself, it might just be side effects.
