I sent mine off on the last week of the holiday and got it back today, so that's um, 2-4 weeks? ;D? + No you don't send anything off such as passports, as long as you've filled everything you need to correctly you should be fine.

Got a letter back today saying I forgot to send off a few things so just need to send this out and should take another week to verify ;)
