Get a few strong and able people and build a long wall at the base around a nearby hill, really high, really tough, stupid slow-zombie proof. Then dig a ditch on our side 20 feet deep, so IF one gets over, He simply falls to his death or can't climb out and starves...
I'd then establish a community on the hill and watch the rest of the human race die and from our raised vantage point, we can keep an eye on the zombie rise!

I used to be a cadet so I've got access to the local military base and their weapons (I've had training, duh) adn I'd round up about six of my best mates (we've all had military training, btw) pack rations, ammo, etc... get someguns and head into the top of a large building in the city where we will pick off the zombies from on top unto they all kill us. Go out fighting I'd say :)
