As Luke said, the same applies to all rares regardless of how many there are. If its released on purpose and is availble to purchase to the general public then its a normal rare, and forever will be. If the Yellow Solarium went extinct with none left being traded, and then one was given out - it would remain a normal rare.
We are folllowing the same line we have followed for years, numbers do not matter and shouldn't do. If we placed them based on what numbers there are then we'd have constant complaints 'uhh my rares rarer than his and his is a super' & 'move mine its not fair it got moved'.
i take it im thinking out of context when i say if the green birdbath and jade dragon were first brought in as normal rares then they should of stayed that way regardless of a re-release.... consdering the section "rares" (of the catalogue) no longer exists dosent that make "limited edition" the new rares section?? meaning the rares released for minutes including the birdbath should be on the normal rares not miscs.
i think it was habbox homepage that stated collectables had ended so there is no rares section of the catalogue at all... limited edition releases rares so thats the new normal rare technically
unless normal rares have to cost 25 credits no more no less?
gold screens were won, not bought out of the catalogue or part of a wider ukash or payday style offer... if their normal rare then technically so is every other competition prize including the battle ball dragons, snowstorm sleeping bags and little cup trophys? purple dragon was battleball tornaments was it not?
ah the typo - a freebie for submitting an article worthy of being published in the newsie?
-Gold screens were not won, they were bought with swap it shop points.
-Limited edition is not normal rares. Limited edition was round even when rares were still being released.
-Gold screens are NOT PRIZES. So I do not see how you can compare them to battle ball dragons, snowstorm sleeping bags and little cup trophies.
-The typewriter was given out as a competition prize. It was just a writing competiton.
-And at the top, you've basically said it's how an item was first released/given out? If so, every item which was released after being a super rare, would still be super rare? :S I always go by 'lowest release' if you know what I mean. If an item was given out and also released with gothic, then its categorized. If an item is categorized but then released for 25c in rares, it's still categorized because it belongs to that section of furniture. Habbox management may do this differently to me though.
- the points were won? without the points they wouldnt have been able to get a screen. so to be fair it kinda was won if you the highest bidder had the most points to win the auction if plebings is correct there. they bidded with non-furni points, won and got the screen?
- yes but a rares section isnt there anymore so something replaces rares or collectables. the most logical replacement for the collectables section would be limited edition and obviously normal rares are now being released in this very section.
- as i said they won the auction with these invisible point and for winning the bidding they got the screen as their prize. virtually they had nothing before they got this screen so ye technically it was their prize for collecting these points in whatever way and winning a screen by offering the most.
- i compared them because to the gaming prizes because people bought tickets with credits which came from real money most likely. with battle ball there was a well known cheat to get 10s of thousands of xp. pay for enough tickets 5 weeks in a row u got urself a bronze dragon. pretty much bought rather than won
- the difference with supers is they dont get released. if they do they aint supers. if im not mistaken didnt the petal patch, moon patch, sand patch, snow rug last appear in the limited edition section with the heading "grab these quick they will never be released again" im pretty sure they were lol. all together on the same page.
only released, supers dont count as i say above because a super is unreleased. what i was trying to day was there isnt a rare section or collectable so if a new recoloured marquee came out in limited edition for 25 credits why would it be a misc. there is no other possible normal rare section. not known anyway
-Yes, I believe it was a bid BUT you did not win points. You sell items such as old consoles and get points, I think.
-Collectables officially replaced rares. Collectables have not officially been replaced.
-Yea, kind of. Although as I said above, you can pay for points like you pay for credits on Habbo, or at least I think you can.
-Nope. They were released ONE BY ONE in the Rares section.
-The normal rares page on Habbox does NOT include limited edition items. Otherwise items like the disco sign and one way gates would be there.
It's a shame to see the Golds in normals, undoubtedbly they'll fall sharply in value but hopefully not too much, perhaps they will be more sought after as the highest valued normal rare?
